From Friday the 13th to Sunday the 15th of August we'll have the SkyJester's Wings over Marl Competition for the 6th time in a row.

This competition was brought to life in 2005 and was the biggest event of its kind.
Even today this is the wingsuit flying event with the highest amount in monetary and other prizes worldwide.

Again your disciplines are time, distance, poker run and relay (joy stick-handover).

The entry fee for the participation in the comp will be 25 euro. This includes the possibillity to win the prizes as well as drinks, snacks, the world famous Jester pie, lots of hot and cold food and all you can drink "Fiege Beer".

Some of the most capable WS pilots world wide with all the WS-brands will be attending. For sure it will be exiting again and hopefully we will come closer to find out about the question: "Is it the suit, or is it the pilot that makes the difference?".

We will combine this competition with a boogie, since this is probably the last event of this kind. All skydivers interested in WS flying and celebrating may attend.

Participating in the boogie is free of entry and there will be plenty of information on wingsuit flying.
The common brands will be presented with demos and the possibility of fitting, test jumps etc.
Direct comparison is possible, especially as the hard-liners of each brand are on site available to answer questions.

Everyone who already has 200 conventional skydives can get a briefing from one of the WS-instructors. BMIs, a BMCI and PHIs are available. (Please register in advance)

We're looking forward to have a Twin Otter in Marl at the Boogie and we will try to present flocks, spectacular maneuvers, rodeos, joystick transfers, etc.. to the WS camera men as much as possible outside of the competition jumps.

Again, we were able to win Klaus Reinwald / Paralog who provides the software and, like always, will be supporting our specialist Kaba. As in the previous year, the results can be monitored on the net almost simultaneously. (www.wingsuitcompetition.com)

Our philosophy of competition:

At WoM, we compare ourselves with each other in a mutual competition in order to discover those efforts put forth by each individual which are conducive to the betterment and improvement of abilities and performance.

Naturally, we use the amicable competition in order to motivate. The victors of our competition have always been prepared to analyze their performance and pass the results on, without hesitation, to any and all interested wing suit flyers. In this way, we can all go forth as victors. We look forward to the speed :-) at which the performance in this young sport is progressing and improving. The result, of course, is the endless fun and enjoyment that we can all experience and passionately pass on.
